Refunds

This is the part of Market My Body that has to be unambiguous, so it is written plainly.

You are refunded the entire amount you paid. Not the amount minus our commission, not the amount minus card processing: all of it. We absorb the processing cost on a displaced sponsor, because a ladder where losing costs you money is a ladder nobody climbs.

The refund is issued automatically the moment the takeover is confirmed, back to the card you paid with. Banks typically show it within five to ten business days.

Only one can hold the spot. If your payment settles after somebody else has already taken the rung you paid for, you do not get the spot and you are refunded in full immediately. You are never charged for a spot you do not hold.

Injury and withdrawal happen. If an athlete does not start their event, every sponsor holding a spot on that campaign is refunded in full. Ask us and we will confirm the status of any campaign you have bought into.

A spot you still hold can be released for a full refund up to 48 hours after purchase, provided the event has not taken place. After that the placement is committed: the athlete has planned their race-day kit around it. Write to hello@marketmybody.com.

Payouts are held in the athlete’s Stripe balance until their event. That is deliberate: a spot can change hands at any point before race day, and a refund has to come from somewhere.
